12 Perfect 80's Movies
Here is a list of 12 movies from the 80's that should never be remade because they are perfect. Ferris Bueller tops the list, and it should never be remade in any way. As evident with the short-lived TV show with Jennifer Aniston.

Jumping the Shark
"Jumping the Shark" is a phrase used to describe that a TV show has passed its peak with ridiculous plotlines. The origins of this phrase came from Happy Days, when the Fonz was wearing swim trunks and his leather jacket, jumps over a shark while water skiing.
Now after the release of the latest Indiana Jones movie, there is a new phrase, "Nuked the Fridge." This is a result of the scene when Indiana Jones finds himself at ground zero at a nuclear test site and slips into a fridge. Miraculously, Indiana Jones survives.
So, start using the phrase "Nuked the Fridge" at least once during your day today.

Sounds like a plot from a Hollywood movie
The heist of the Bill Reid collection at Museum of Anthropology at UBC is now sounding like a plan from a Hollywood movie. Several hours before the heist, surveillance cameras mysteriously went off, and then security got a phone call. The caller claimed to be from the alarm company saying that there was a problem with the system and to ignore any alarms that might go off. Right....haven't we seen this enough during heist films and especially when Han Solo was telling Imperial guards that everything was OK. Well security fell for it and ignored the automated computer alerts sent to them. Furthermore, the guard at the museum left for a smoke break, allowing the window for the thieves to break in and spray bear spray. No wonder UBC was embarrassed to let us know how the heist happened.

Movie Riddle
What do the movies Superman II, Officespace and Entrapment have in common?
They are all movies that have a scam to skim off tiny amounts of money from bank accounts to accumulate into one account, resulting in millions of dollars. It sessm that some guy tried to pull off something like that.
"A California man has been indicted for an inventive scheme that allegedly siphoned $50,000 from online brokerage houses E-trade and Schwab.com in six months -- a few pennies at a time."

Are they running out of ideas in Hollywood?
Poor Arnie, they are going to be remaking Red Sonja and Conan the Barbarian. Here is a list of other movies they are remaking, including rap like Fame and Short Circuit. Do we really need a remake of Footloose?
38 Planned Movie Remakes You Didn't Know About
Wasn't Rambo 4 enough? All of these sequels are making me shake my head. Alvin & The Chipmunks 2? Was the original movie that successful to qualify it for a sequel?
28 Sequels Later: more films you didn't know were coming
I would love to see Hollywood make Rochelle Rochelle, Chunnel, Prognosis Negative, or even Sack Lunch one of these days.
